Why we exist

HOA management was broken. We fixed it.

Most HOA management companies work the same way: they take your contract, hand off maintenance to outside vendors, run your books through generic accounting software, and charge you for every phone call that falls outside their base fee. When something goes wrong, everyone points at someone else.

We built My HOA Spot to eliminate that model entirely. By owning our own software platform (My Rental Spot), our own maintenance company (Bay Area Installers), and our own management operation, we can actually stand behind every part of the service we provide.

No finger-pointing. No vendor markup. No third-party SaaS fees passed through to your community. Just one team, accountable end to end.

Our in-house licensed general contracting company. Bay Area Installers handles all common area maintenance, emergency repairs, and capital improvement projects dispatched through My HOA Spot. Because we own the maintenance operation, we can commit to a written 48-hour response SLA and pass labor and materials to your community at cost — no vendor markup.

Every policy, notice, and enforcement action is grounded in California’s Davis-Stirling Common Interest Development Act. We don’t improvise compliance — we follow the law.

SLA-backed responsiveness

Maintenance requests are dispatched within 24 hours and resolved within 48 hours — in writing, not as a verbal promise. We put our SLA in the management agreement.
